Allegations cover over a decade

The charges relate to the seasons between 2009-10 and 2022-23, with serious claims that accurate financial information was not provided. The Premier League referred the club to an independent commission in February 2023 after investigating breaches spanning more than ten years. City hired lawyer David Pannick to lead their defence against these allegations.

Potential sanctions remain undecided

No sanction has yet been decided by the panel before any appeal is completed according to reports. If confirmed, the guilty verdict could result in points deduction or expulsion from the competition. The punishment will be released before the appeal process concludes.
