India women’s team refuses to collect Women’s Asia Cup trophy
The India women's cricket team declined to accept their trophy from ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Delayed ceremony after final match
The presentation was delayed by more than half an hour following India's victory over Sri Lanka. Broadcasters interviewed Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur immediately after the game ended at 9:55pm UAE time. By 10:30pm, there were no signs of the ceremony starting.
Team stands by BCCI decision
Head coach Amol Muzumdar stated that the stand has been taken by the BCCI. The team refused to accept winners' medals or the trophy during the event. Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu collected the runners-up cheque from Naqvi instead.
