Fallon Sherrock defeats Luke Littler to win Beat Luke Littler prize
Fallon Sherrock defeated Luke Littler in a one-leg match at Manchester Central on Friday to win the £501,000 Beat Luke Littler prize.
Sherrock wins final leg
Sherrock qualified for the event because she does not hold a PDC Tour card. She took her opportunity in style by landing a 180 and finishing on double 20 to clinch the victory.
Son watches from crowd
Sherrock's son Rory was present among the audience for his mother's first time at such an event. She told Netflix that seeing him there made the moment especially meaningful and emotional.
Littler praises performance
Nineteen-year-old Littler described Sherrock's win as world class after she hit the bull and went out in fifteen darts. He noted that winning the maximum and finishing quickly was exactly what one person had to do.
