England recall leg-spinner Mason Crane for Pakistan tri-series
Mason Crane has been named in the England squad for the upcoming one-day international tri-series in Pakistan.
Squad returns and absences
Sam Curran and Adil Rashid return to the team after recovering from injury. Jos Buttler is unavailable due to a hamstring tear sustained last week. Jofra Archer is rested while uncapped players James Coles and Henry Crocombe join the list.
Crane selection details
The 29-year-old bowler won his sole Test cap against Australia in Sydney in 2018. He is now given a chance to compete for the number one spinner role. Marcus North stated that Crane has performed consistently for Glamorgan during the summer.
Tournament schedule and venue
The squad will travel to Islamabad on 15 October for the round-robin tournament. The final match is scheduled to take place at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on 31 October.
