Quarterback achieves historic rating milestone

Purdy completed 21 of his 29 passes for a total of 264 yards. He also threw one touchdown pass to lead the team past Washington. This performance officially made him the highest-rated quarterback in league history.

Defense secures late victory

The Niners built a twenty-point lead before stopping Washington on fourth down with 1 minute and 54 seconds left. Jayden Daniels was called for intentional grounding near the goal line to end the game. Keion White and Ogbo Okoronkwo sacked the quarterback on the final play.

Team extends winning streak

San Francisco improved its record to six wins without a loss at the start of the season. The victory followed an emotional win against division rival Seattle last week. This marks the best start for the franchise since 2019.
