Baltimore Ravens finalize trade for Jacoby Brissett from Arizona Cardinals
The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade to acquire quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals.
Ravens need veteran quarterback help
The deal addresses immediate needs after Lamar Jackson required surgery on his right thumb. Backup Tyler Huntley will also miss the rest of the season due to a toe injury. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is scheduled to start against Jacksonville this Thursday.
Brissett ready for Chargers matchup
Sources indicate the transaction should be completed by the end of this weekend. Brissett is expected to play in the Monday night game against the Los Angeles Chargers on November 16. He previously started eight games for Arizona before being demoted behind Gardner Minshew.
