Australia squad strengthened with Cummins and Starc for South Africa ODI series
Cricket Australia announced on Monday that captain Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc will join the squad for the upcoming one-day internationals against South Africa starting in Durban.
Squad changes confirmed ahead of tour
All-rounder Jack Edwards is also included in the list after diverting from the Australia A tour of India. He is expected to make his ODI debut while fast bowlers Billy Stanlake and Spencer Johnson return home following their time in Zimbabwe.
Injuries and selection decisions noted
Stanlake will undergo medical scans after suffering a side strain, while Johnson was considered surplus to requirements after playing two matches. Cameron Green remains out of the squad because he is dealing with a sore shoulder.

Australia secured a three-nil victory in Zimbabwe before departing early for the next fixture. The team aims to carry that momentum into the South Africa campaign which begins on Thursday.
