Australia defeated Zimbabwe by a single wicket with one ball remaining at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday to complete a three-match series sweep.

Zimbabwe posted 271 for eight after winning the toss. Captain Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 81 while Craig Ervine and Innocent Kaia also scored half centuries. Kaia retired hurt with a hamstring injury when the score reached 148 for three.

Wesley Madhevere dropped Nathan Ellis during the penultimate over to deny him a winning run. Ellis hit a six off the first ball of the final over to seal the win. Australia claimed their third consecutive victory in the series before traveling to South Africa.
