The 25-year-old winger went down in the 10th minute while attempting a pass at the Allianz Arena. He had to be replaced by Eberechi Eze after clutching his left thigh with sharp pain.

Manager expresses concern for player

Arteta told TNT Sports that a player coming off with such pain is never good news. The manager added that the club must wait to see how the situation develops before making further decisions.

Recent fitness history noted

Saka has faced fitness issues recently, including an Achilles injury in March and hamstring surgery in December 2024. He missed seven games last season due to the Achilles problem but returned to help win the Premier League title.
