Arsenal lose to Brighton while Tottenham fall to Aston Villa
Brighton and Hove Albion defeated Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday while Tottenham Hotspur lost 3-2 to Aston Villa.
Arsenal end perfect start
Brighton scored three goals to beat the Premier League champions in their opening league match of the season. Pascal Gross opened the scoring in the 31st minute before Charalampos Kostoulas added a second just before half-time. Chema Andres headed in the third goal for Brighton in the hour mark.
Tottenham remain winless
Tottenham Hotspur failed to secure a victory after a 3-2 defeat at home against Aston Villa. The Spurs side scored their first Premier League goals of the campaign but could not hold on for a win.
Other league results
Promoted Hull City lost their first league game of the season with a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United. Everton moved into the top five after beating Ipswich Town 1-0 in their match on Saturday.
