NASA seeks private sector help to extend Hubble telescope life
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman is asking the commercial space industry for proposals to boost the orbit of the Hubble Space Telescope before it falls in the early 2030s.

Telescope faces orbital decay soon
Gravity slowly pulls the famous instrument closer to its final end. Without an orbit boost, the spacecraft will crash into Earth during the 2030s. It is not in immediate danger of burning up now.
Agency opens proposal window
The space agency posted a request for information on its official website. Administrator Jared Isaacman stated that every reasonable opportunity should be explored to keep the asset working. The review period for these ideas will continue until November 30th at 3 PM ET.
