Current energy generation shifts

Solar power and wind energy now drive the largest growth in worldwide electricity production. These renewable sources have surpassed coal and gas to satisfy more than half of new demand. The International Energy Agency confirms this energy revolution is already underway globally.

New targets for 2035

Host nation Türkiye plans a voluntary pledge at the November conference to raise electricity usage. This goal aims to cover thirty-five percent of total global energy needs by that year. Current figures show only twenty-three percent of demand is met by electric power today.

Transport sector changes

Replacing petrol and gas with electricity will happen across homes, businesses, and industry. The transport sector faces significant pressure to adopt these cleaner energy solutions quickly. Leaders believe existing technologies are ready for immediate practical application in real life.
