TTAP invites PPP to all-party conference in Islamabad
The Tehreek-i-Tahafuz-Ayin-i-Pakistan alliance invited the Pakistan People's Party to an upcoming multiparty conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Delegation meets party leadership
A TTAP delegation led by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan visited the PPP Central Secretariat. They formally invited the party to participate in the All-Parties Conference scheduled for September 11. The group included Senate Leader of Opposition Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Senator Zeeshan Akhunzada.
PPP response to invitation
PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari welcomed the move during the meeting. He stated that the invitation would be forwarded to party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for consideration. The delegation briefed Bukhari on the conference objectives before leaving.
Conference agenda details
The proposed moot aims to address law and order, inflation, and the creation of new provinces. Discussions also covered constitutional supremacy and strengthening democratic institutions among political parties. Both sides confirmed the invitation was accepted for further review.
