PTI leadership in Pakistan disagree over October 4 protest march timing
Senior PTI officials in Islamabad and Charsadda issued conflicting statements on Tuesday and Wednesday regarding the party's planned October 4 protest march in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Security concerns raised by KP secretary
Shaukat Yousafzai, the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Secretary, wrote to party leadership on Tuesday urging a postponement of the event. He cited security risks and the potential for the federal government to use the situation as a pretext for emergency rule. Yousafzai also noted that Imran Khan previously ended a march to protect workers after similar threats.
Federal leaders reject postponement request
Former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser told reporters on Wednesday that the party would proceed with the planned programme on October 4. He stated there was no possibility of delaying the march despite warnings about emergency or governor's rule in the province. Qaiser added that the leadership would challenge any such measures through legal means if they occurred.
