Judicial Commission extends Sindh High Court constitutional benches term by one year
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan extended the terms of the Sindh High Court's constitutional benches for another year in a meeting held in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Renomination of existing judges
The commission re-nominated all current judges serving on these benches by a vote of fourteen to one. This decision ensures the continuity of the constitutional benches until their tenure expires on October 25.
Verification of member credentials
During the session, officials addressed a complaint regarding the educational qualifications of Ahsan Bhoon, a member representing the Pakistan Bar Council. The commission confirmed that his law degree is genuine after independent verification by the University of the Punjab and the Attorney General.
Attendance of political representatives
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Adviser Rana Sanaullah attended the meeting to replace two members who resigned last week. Chief Justice Yahya Afridi presided over the proceedings while the new parliamentarians represented treasury benches in the National Assembly and Senate.
