Interior Minister accuses KP Chief Minister of sabotaging federal opposition talks
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi accused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi of trying to sabotage negotiations in Lahore on Sunday.

Negotiations ended without final deal
Federal and opposition representatives held two rounds of discussions on Friday and Saturday. These talks concluded without a signed agreement because the sides remained divided over key issues. Disagreements included access to jailed founder Imran Khan and military operations in terrorism-hit areas.
Draft changes caused breakdown
The interior minister stated that ninety-nine percent of points were settled before a draft was prepared. He claimed he took this copy to President Asif Ali Zardari before returning from the meeting. Upon his return, he found several changes had been made to the document by the provincial chief minister.
Long march proceeds as planned
The opposition party initiated its long march towards Islamabad after the discussions failed. Interior Minister Naqvi noted that no request was made from the federal side to postpone this event. He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party chairman had previously indicated a desire to delay the protest.
