North Carolina and Georgia results

Former governor Roy Cooper defeated Michael Whatley to win the North Carolina Senate seat. In Georgia, Senator Jon Ossoff won against Mike Collins while Keisha Lance Bottoms became the state's new governor. These outcomes give Democrats one of four needed pickups for a chamber majority.

Florida and New Hampshire races

Senator Ashley Moody retained her Florida seat but trailed Democrat Angie Nixon by about three percentage points. Chris Pappas kept the open Senate seat in New Hampshire against John Sununu. Millions of votes remain uncounted across the country as final results are still unclear.
