Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif appointed Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Rana Sanaullah as members of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Friday.

Vacancies filled after resignations
Two seats in the commission became vacant following the resignations of Senator Farooq H. Naek and Aftab Sheikh. The new appointments were announced via a notification issued by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Friday.
Parliamentary representation confirmed
Bilawal will represent the National Assembly while Rana Sanaullah represents the Senate as members of the treasury benches. The nominations received approval from Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, who chairs the body.
Next meeting scheduled soon
The commission is set to meet on October 13 to consider extending terms for Sindh High Court Constitutional Benches. This gathering will also address other judicial matters under Article 175A of the Constitution.
