Achakzai says PTI must meet Imran Khan before talks
Opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai told PTI to agree to government talks only after meeting jailed founder Imran Khan in Islamabad.

Conditions for dialogue set
Achakzai advised the party leadership to accept a formal invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He stated that any negotiation requires access to the imprisoned former premier first. Sources indicate Achakzai delivered this message through Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai regarding the stalled political process.
Confidence building measures needed
The opposition figure insisted on releasing Khan's sisters as a step to build trust. He also called for meetings with other leaders including Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. Achakzai warned that imposing governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would lead to serious political consequences.
Warning against emergency rule
Achakzai told a gathering in Zhob that the opposition will announce people's rule if an emergency is declared. He questioned why the state fears a meeting with the ex-premier. The leader emphasized that powerful groups trying to break Khan must now face their own challenges.
