Rawalpindi Development Authority adopts zero-paper policy and enforces EFOAS system

The Rawalpindi Development Authority in Rawalpindi decided on October 8 to implement a zero-paper policy following directions from the Commissioner.

Officials review paperless transition plans

A meeting took place at the RDA Conference Room to examine current file processing methods. Directors and senior officers discussed steps needed for a smooth shift to digital operations. The group analyzed how official correspondence and files are currently handled within the administration.

Commissioner orders strict electronic compliance

Director General Salman Ghani instructed all staff to use the Electronic File and Office Automation System for every task. Official letters and Put Up Cases must now be initiated through this specific digital platform. No physical documents should reach the Administration Directorate unless they follow the prescribed electronic procedure.

Staff directed to stop using paper

All directorates received orders to eliminate unnecessary use of physical files in daily business. Officers must ensure that correspondence is not submitted through any means other than the electronic system. The authority aims to gradually remove reliance on traditional paper-based methods for all official work.
