Pakistan rejects Indian defence minister threats and warns of response
The Foreign Office in Islamabad condemned remarks by India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday.

Spokesperson criticises Indian statements
Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan called the comments provocative during a weekly briefing. He stated that such reckless language reflects a hegemonistic mindset and threatens regional peace.
Warning about military conflict
The official reminded India of the consequences seen during the brief military clash last May. Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty against any ill-advised aggression from across the border.
Support for Saudi Arabia
Islamabad also condemned recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The country reaffirmed its commitment to Saudi security under the Makkah Agreement for joint defence.
