Pakistan rejects Afghan Taliban claims of lacking capacity to fuel insecurity
The Pakistani information ministry rebutted Afghan Taliban assertions on Saturday regarding their inability to support terrorism in Pakistan.

Ministry rebuts diversionary allegations
Islamabad's information ministry stated that the Taliban resorted to diversionary allegations instead of addressing legitimate security concerns. Officials asserted that claims about a lack of capacity do not address documented threats from Afghan soil. The ministry backed its position by citing reports from the United Nations Security Council and the US Congress.
Taliban denies supporting attacks
Spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid claimed it is not in Afghanistan's interest to create instability in Pakistan. He further argued that Islamabad's approach distracts security forces from their own duties. The interim administration denied possessing resources to foment or finance insecurity in neighboring countries.
Pakistan warns of measures
Islamabad warned the Afghan regime that regional peace remains elusive unless terrorism is verifiably addressed. Pakistan reaffirmed its resolve to take necessary measures to protect citizens and territorial integrity. The ministry insisted that blaming security institutions does not absolve Taliban authorities of their responsibility.
