Chairman of the Competition Commission of Pakistan Farid Ahmad Tarar addressed delegates virtually at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Anti-Monopoly Authorities meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on September 17.

Pakistan has moved from a complaint-driven model toward proactive and intelligence-led market surveillance according to Tarar. The CCP briefed participants on enforcement actions against cartels, abuse of dominance and deceptive marketing practices.
