Pakistan Broadcasters Association elects new board and office-bearers in Karachi
The Pakistan Broadcasters Association held its annual general body meeting in Karachi on Monday to elect new directors and office-bearers.
Elected TV and radio directors
The general body selected three television members to serve as directors on the board. Neo TV, Mehran TV, and City 42 representatives were chosen in this category. Five radio industry professionals were also elected unopposed to join the board.
New office-bearers for next term
A subsequent board meeting chose Shakeel Masud Hussain as chairman for the 2026-2027 term. Other roles went to Mir Ibrahim Rahman, Salman Iqbal, Mian Amer Mahmood, Duraid Qureshi, and Ahmad A Zuberi. All candidates for these leadership positions were elected without opposition.
