Court approves temporary release order

Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar approved the bail until November 10. The order allows Jatt to avoid arrest while he approaches the relevant court for a legal remedy. He surrendered before the judges in a wheelchair after filing a petition to prevent his immediate detention.

Stampede details and initial charges

An FIR registered on October 31 at Motra Police Station names Jatt, his brother, the ground owner, six others, and 40 to 45 unidentified security guards. The incident occurred when stadium gates opened for hundreds of people gathered at Faraz Cricket Ground on Daska Road. Two lives were lost and 18 people were injured during the crowd crush.
