Interior Minister Naqvi warns PTI against planned September 27 Islamabad march

Government stance on the protest

Naqvi addressed a press briefing in Lahore and told the party there is still time to change course. He stated that the government will not leave any loopholes if the march proceeds despite claims that the majority leadership does not support it.

Court orders and security concerns

The minister said authorities would fully implement the Islamabad High Court order prohibiting occupation of public roads. He also noted recent security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following a blast at a mosque in Kohat.

Long-term solution for disputes

Naqvi indicated that officials believe they will find a permanent solution to frequent protest calls this time. He urged the party not to harm its workers by entering a dead-end street.
