Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi plans Karachi facilitation centre
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced a new public service centre in Karachi on Tuesday.
Services under one roof
The proposed facility will house counters for all departments within the Federal Ministry of Interior. Citizens can access passports, CNICs, arms licences and various no-objection certificates at this single location. The minister ordered authorities to submit a master plan for the project within ten days.
Emergency fleet arrives
Twenty-one new rescue and firefighting vehicles arrived at Karachi Port from China. These units mark the largest expansion of the Islamabad Rescue fleet since 2009. The equipment includes aerial fire trucks, fire towers and tenders with modern gear.
