Emergency districts receive funding

The governor clarified that twelve districts remain under emergency status because they are victims of terrorism. He dismissed rumors about merging these areas with former tribal regions or creating a separate province. Seventy percent of the Rs160 billion federal development package will be spent in these specific locations.

Police infrastructure gets allocation

The provincial government is allocating Rs40 billion to three divisions for police department requirements. This funding covers the construction and improvement of stations, checkposts, and officer offices. Officials noted that around 17,000 posts in the police department are currently vacant.

Education projects begin

The foundation for the Danish School System is being laid in the region. Further development initiatives will also be introduced to support local growth. The governor addressed elders and prominent figures after chairing a high-level meeting on these matters.
