Staff shortages and resource gaps

Members pointed out an acute lack of staff members filling vacant sanctioned posts within the commissions. They also listed missing basic facilities, unpaid pensionary benefits, and a lack of suitable incentives for employees as major issues.

Call for legal compliance

The group insisted that appointments must follow the existing legal framework without any further unnecessary delay. Adequate financial and human resources are essential for these bodies to discharge their mandates effectively according to the committee.
