Chief of Defence Forces visits Peshawar Corps to discuss security
Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Peshawar Corps Headquarters on Tuesday to brief officials on the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the visit, Field Marshal Munir laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. He offered Fateha in tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. The army chief stressed that these supreme sacrifices would never be forgotten by the forces.
Commendation of security personnel
The Chief of Army Staff commended the high morale and readiness of the officers and troops. He acknowledged their professionalism in safeguarding the country and its people during ongoing counter-terrorism operations. The commander was received by the Peshawar Corps commander upon arrival at the headquarters.
