Teachers face financial hardship

Kate Comer lost about £1,500 when her studio closed without warning. She estimates that around 100 yoga teachers remain unpaid for their final weeks of work. Several instructors at sister brands like Barrecore and Boom Cycle have also reported being left out of pocket.

Business owners suspend operations

The parent company Common Bond announced the temporary suspension of trading on 24 September. Bailiffs visited the Shoreditch location shortly before the failure to pay teachers occurred in August. The collapse has left some staff fearing homelessness while they search for new employment.
