Tariq Halal Meats partners with British Asian Trust for Pakistan mental health
Tariq Halal Meats and the British Asian Trust announced a partnership to support mental health services in Pakistan.

Scope of the crisis
An estimated 50 million people in Pakistan currently experience mental health problems. The British Asian Trust states that around 90 per cent of those needing treatment cannot access appropriate support. This charity has run programmes in the country for more than a decade.

The trust was founded by King Charles in 2007 alongside British Asian business leaders. Its work seeks to improve access to services while challenging stigma surrounding mental illness. The partnership aims to raise funds and awareness for these specific programmes.
