Sky Sports partners with Mental Health Foundation for World Mental Health Day
Sky Sports has joined forces with the Mental Health Foundation to launch resources and films for World Mental Health Day on October 10.

The partnership includes two short films designed to offer practical support. Former footballer Paul Merson appears in the campaign materials. He discusses sensitive topics including suicidal thoughts within one of the videos.

Viewers can access free advice through their GP if they feel worried about their mental health. Emergency services like 999 or A&E are recommended for those thinking about ending their life. Additional confidential support is available via the Samaritans phone line or the SHOUT text service.
