Revolution Medicines Rasonque drug sales hit $198 million in five weeks
Revolution Medicines reported that its pancreatic cancer drug Rasonque generated $198 million in U.S. sales during the first five weeks after receiving regulatory approval.
Strong start for new treatment
The company stated that more than 5,000 patients have already received the drug since its launch. Sales figures were nearly double the highest estimates held by investors before the third-quarter earnings announcement.
Company leadership comments on results
Chief Commercial Officer Anthony Mancini described the U.S. launch as having a strong start during an earnings call. Investors are now re-evaluating their forecasts for the company based on this performance.
