The seized items included eye ointments, creams, sprays, and lotions used to treat ear pain. These packages failed to display manufacturing licenses or drug registration numbers. Laboratory results confirmed that all nine products were ineffective due to missing active ingredients.

Action was initiated in North Karachi and the Central district of the city. Reports recommending legal action have been sent to the Provincial Inspector of Drugs and the Sindh Quality Control Board secretary.
