Jersey Community Foundation launches new fund for health projects
The Jersey Community Foundation announced a new fund on March 26 to support community wellbeing projects in Jersey.

Funding aims to supplement government support
The fund allows individuals, families, businesses and charitable trusts to contribute money. These contributions will support medical equipment, research and clinical innovation. Chief executive Anna Terry stated the initiative is not meant to replace existing government funding.
Independent panel oversees decisions
An independent panel will be established to manage funding decisions and shape priorities. Health minister Tom Binet welcomed the chance to attract new philanthropic support for local health needs. The foundation plans to work with healthcare providers and businesses to identify areas where extra money makes a difference.
