Elizabeth Holmes to move from Texas prison to halfway house in 2027
Elizabeth Holmes will be transferred from a federal prison in Texas to an Austin transitional center in August 2027.
Sentence reduction details
Holmes was originally sentenced to more than 11 years for fraud charges related to her company. A judge reduced her term by one year following a change in sentencing guidelines and First Act credit. She is currently held at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in southern Texas.
