Workshops and social groups available

The Wellbeing for Us programme provides face-to-face workshops covering topics like managing anxiety and stress. Informal peer support social groups are also being held to help residents build confidence and reduce isolation. These activities take place in towns including Withernsea, Hornsea, Bridlington, Beverley, Driffield, Pocklington, Goole and Hessle.

Drop-in sessions at specific sites

Drop-in sessions are currently operating in Goole and at Lelley Fields Crematorium. The council states that more informal peer support groups are planned for the future. Participants can access wider support through community organisations, NHS referrals and other health services.
