Balochistan CM says new heart hospital nears completion
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced that the 150-bed Balochistan Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases will be inaugurated later this month in Quetta.

Hospital project reaches final stage
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated the modern facility is almost ready for operation. While presiding over the inaugural gathering of the BICVD Board of Directors held in Quetta, he offered these remarks. The gathering reviewed progress on completion and administrative structures before the official launch. Three satellite centres linked to the main hospital will also start work during this initial phase.
Leadership appointed for new institute
The governing body authorized the selection of celebrated heart specialist Dr Jalal Khan to serve as the temporary leader of the organization. He will oversee preparations to ensure the facility meets modern medical standards immediately. Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar informed attendees that satellite centres will expand to all divisional headquarters later. Chest Pain Management Centres will be established in every district for immediate assistance.
Patients avoid long travel trips
Within the province, the newly established institute offers state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment centers for heart conditions. Patients no longer must journey to different provinces for specialized heart treatment because of this advancement. The hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment and qualified specialists to ensure quality treatment.
