Platforms change their decision

A YouTube spokesperson stated that the system had temporarily restricted the ad before clearing it for publication. A Meta spokesperson confirmed that their earlier rejection was an error and they are restoring the ads now. Bleecker Street, the studio producing the film, had been appealing these initial rulings from both companies.

Other platforms remain silent

TikTok and X have not commented on the situation and continue to refuse the advertisement. The documentary trailer was released Thursday ahead of the movie's scheduled release on October 9. Bleecker Street has not yet been informed of any specific change regarding the ad status as of late Saturday morning.
