Xie Miao to headline US-set martial arts crime thriller for Stars Collective
Chinese actor Xie Miao will star in an English-language action crime thriller currently in development by Los Angeles-based production company Stars Collective.

The film is set in the United States and follows a realistic martial arts style similar to his previous work. Peter Luo, Wayne Wei Jiang, and Wei Junzi are attached as producers for the project. Nancy Xu serves as co-CEO of Stars Collective and also produces the film.
Actor background and credits
Xie Miao was born in Beijing and began his career as a child actor before winning multiple wushu championship titles. He gained wider recognition after appearing opposite Jet Li in several films including The New Legend of Shaolin. His recent leading role in the action hit The Furious established him as an international action star.
