X-Men 97 Season 3 teaser reveals mutant conflict at New York Comic Con
Marvel announced a third season of X-Men 97 at New York Comic Con with a new clip showing mutants facing city lockdowns.
New season confirmed for Disney+
Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel television, animation, comics and franchise, revealed the renewal during the event. The animated series continues the story that began in 2024 after Disney acquired Fox.
Mutants face city lockdowns
A clip shows police blocking the city borders so mutants cannot reach Professor X's school without transit letters. A young mutant attempts to sneak across before a rescue team arrives to save her from capture.
Key characters appear in footage
Storm and Professor X are seen discussing the conflict with the US president while driving together. The scene later shifts to Gambit and Rogue's wedding where Deadpool and She-Hulk attend the ceremony.
