Widow’s Bay leads Emmy wins with record 14 trophies while The Pitt takes drama prize
Apple TV's horror comedy Widow's Bay won a record 14 awards at the 2026 Primetime Emmy ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday.
Comedy series breaks records
The show surpassed the previous high of 13 wins set by The Studio last year. Matthew Rhys became the first actor to win two lead acting honors at this single event. Creator Katie Dippold received recognition for writing while Hiro Murai was honored for directing.
Drama and limited series results
HBO's The Pitt secured its second consecutive best drama series award along with a win for Noah Wyle. Apple TV's Pluribus earned six trophies including an acting prize for Rhea Seehorn. DTF St. Louis led the limited series category with seven wins and accolades for David Harbour.
Other notable winners
Jean Smart took her fifth Emmy for portraying Deborah Vance in Hacks during its final season. Allison Janney won supporting actress honors for The Diplomat while Sally Field received a lead award for Remarkably Bright Creatures.
