Wednesday season 3 filming wraps with new cast members joining the series
Netflix announced that production on the third season of Wednesday has officially wrapped in Paris and Dublin.
Production concludes for new season
The streamer revealed a first look at Jenna Ortega as she stars in the upcoming installment. Tim Burton directs the series which originally launched in 2022. Season two debuted last year with parts released in August and September.
Cast expands for upcoming episodes
Eva Green joins the cast to play Ophelia Frump, who is Morticia's sister. The season reunites Winona Ryder with Ortega and director Burton for the project. Returning actors include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Emma Myers and Fred Armisen.
Previous seasons set viewing records
The first four episodes of season two garnered 50 million views in its first five days. That performance equalled the launch numbers for season one which remains Netflix's most-watched English language series. Season two ended as the tenth most-watched title of all time on the platform.
