Warner Chappell Co-Chair Carianne Marshall to leave role at end of month
Warner Chappell announced that co-chair and COO Carianne Marshall will depart her position at the company by the end of this month.
Marshall stays through year-end for transition
The publisher stated that Marshall will remain with the organization until the calendar year concludes to assist with the transition. During her tenure, she helped build a songwriter-first home for the creative community alongside Guy Moot. Warner Music Group CEO Robert Kyncl described her as instrumental in building the company into its current successful state.
Guy Moot becomes sole chairman
With Marshall exiting, Guy Moot will serve as the publisher's only chairman following her departure. Marshall joined Warner Chappell in 2018 after working at SONGS Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing Group. She expressed gratitude to Len, Robert, Guy, the WMG Board, and the entire team for their support.
