Indian actor Nana Patekar died at his home in Goa on Thursday morning.
Hospital efforts failed to revive him
His son Malhar confirmed the death after the actor was found unconscious early Thursday. Doctors performed continuous CPR for 45 minutes but could not bring him back to life.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recalled how Patekar commanded attention with his voice and honesty. The veteran performer won three National Film Awards during a long career starting in 1978.
