Tommy & Tuppence stars reveal intense finale and potential season two
Josh Dylan and Antonia Thomas discuss the conclusion of their BritBox detective series and future plans in an interview with Variety.
Finale plot details emerge
The sixth episode features the pair solving a cold case involving child murders. Tuppence decides to divorce her husband while acknowledging her feelings for Tommy. She arrives at his door only to see him kissing another detective.
Actress comments on timing
Antonia Thomas told Variety that the characters realize their connection is too late in this sequence. Much of their relationship dynamic relies on this specific moment of missed opportunity. The series brings classic Christie characters into a modern setting where they are exes.
Future case possibilities
Tuppence's sister presents the duo with a new mission to help the government. This development sets up potential events for a second season of the show. The actors discuss why the romantic chemistry keeps missing its mark.
