The original members of Tom Petty's band reunited with Chris Stapleton on stage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for the Americana Honors & Awards show on Wednesday.

Original Members Return To Stage

Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, Stan Lynch and Ron Blair performed with Stapleton as the frontman. The group played three songs including American Girl, Breakdown and You Wreck Me during the event. Fans watched the performance at the Ryman Auditorium throughout the Wednesday night show.

Drummer Changes For Finale

Stan Lynch stepped away from the drums to let Steve Ferrone play for the final number. Scott Thurston also joined the lineup as a utility musician during the set. The reunion concluded with the full band performing together after these personnel changes.
