Preview show sells out completely

The production played to 100 percent capacity during its initial run. It recorded the second highest average ticket price on Broadway for that week at $238.

Other shows lead weekly earnings

Other Desert Cities brought in $2.35 million as the top grossing show of the period. Hamilton followed with $2.31 million while Harry Potter and the Cursed Child earned $1.63 million.

Industry totals drop slightly

Broadway grosses fell 13 percent compared to the previous week despite the new addition. Attendance numbers were down four percent as theaters competed with Halloween events and city activities.
