BritBox has released first images of a new three-part Christmas special for The Other Bennet Sister set to air this holiday season.
Cast Returns and New Character Joins
Ella Bruccoleri returns as Mary Bennet opposite Dónal Finn, who plays her husband Tom Hayward. The special features the full main cast including Ruth Jones as Mrs. Bennet and Poppy Gilbert as Lizzie Darcy. Nerys Amber-Stocks appears for the first time in the role of Mary's housemaid Lucy.
Production Team Discusses Future Plans
Producer Jane Tranter stated that any further seasons depend on author Janice Hadlow's thinking regarding new storylines. The team is currently concentrating on adapting novels by Jane Austen as their primary goal. Sarah Quintrell wrote the special based on new storylines provided by Hadlow.
